Ministry of Health shuts down 650 health establishments [Archives:2004/754/Local News]

Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Mohamed Al-Name said that his ministry, has ordered the shutting down of 650 health services because of their violations of health regulations. This action comes within the inspection campaign of hospitals, clinics, dispensaries and pharmacies throughout the Republic of Yemen
He added that the ministry is implementing an intensive campaign aiming at increasing health education and preventive measures in addition to conducting a study to reformulate laws and legislation related to the health sector.
