U.S. Ambassador Edmund Hull and Yemen's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning and International Cooperation signed an “Allocation Minute” on Monday, May 31, to allocate $ 14 million to various development projects. The funds will be provided through the “PL-480 program”. The specific projects to be funded include agricultural programs in Abyan Governorate, a fishing facility at Hodeida Port, rural road and community development projects in the Tihama, livestock and horticultural development projects in Mareb, Amran and Tihama, agricultural research and extension projects across the country and a program of support for the Yemeni Ministry of Agriculture.
