More than 105 MPs demanded last Tuesday the government be represented before the parliament to give explanations on a parliamentary report concerning the College of Medicine Crime. The parliamentary committee report contained recommendations on sacking a number of university and security officials. The government has ignored the parliamentary report and sent it to legal affairs minister.
On the other hand, Dr. Mohammed Al-Khateeb, Adams attorney said in a statement to the Yemen Times that he had not so far been able to meet his client despite the permissions granted by chairman of the court. He added that he might boycott the court sitting scheduled for August 28 in which the Germans final report is expected to be read out.
