The Taj Sheba Hotel – Sana'a has been appointed a new General Manager, Mr. Malvinder Narang. He brings with him a vast amount of experience having worked in various “Leading Hotels of the World” in different capacities.
He started his career in 1970 with The Taj Group of Hotels in Mumbai and thereafter became one of the youngest General Managers of the company at the age of 28 of the famed Lake Palace Udaipur.

He was also involved in the opening of the award winning Taj Exotica, Bentota, in Sri Lanka. He then moved on to Jaipur as the Area Director and General Manger of the world-renowned Rambagh Palace and was also responsible of the opening of The Taj Hari Mahal in Jodhpur. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Narang was the Director – Corporate Administration based in Mumbai at the corporate office.
In his own words, “A lot has changed in the last two decades and I am delighted to be back at the Taj Sheba Hotel and be with the Yemeni people who are so friendly and hospitable. Yemen has always been very close to my heart for its rich heritage and culture”.
The staff of the Taj Sheba Hotel and the Yemen Times wish Mr. Narang a successful term in Sana'a, in taking The Taj Sheba Hotel to greater heights.
