New batch of Aden Free Zone Forces [Archives:2004/747/Local News]

Monday, June 14, Aden- A new batch of officers and men, totaling 76 members of Aden Free Zone Forces, graduated after receiving training in self-defense. The first batch, 67 members, graduated earlier this year in the field of preventative operations and public safety.
Vice Minister of the Interior, Brig. Rashad Al-Masry, attended the graduation ceremony and praised the tremendous efforts exerted in order for the graduation of the 76, who will contribute to maintaining security and stability of Aden through the skills and training they have received.
The Director of Aden Security, Mr. Abdullah Gairan, on his part, emphasized that these training sessions aim at enhancing the human resource available to confront any threat. He pointed out that the level of security is connected to all aspects of development as no development can be achieved without tangible security and stability.
The graduation ceremony was also attended by the Mayor of Aden, Dr. Yahya Al-Shaibi and Mr. Abdulkareem Shaif, Secretary General of Aden Local Council. It also included a military parade by the graduates and other security police units for Aden Free Zone.
