New dengue fever cases discovered [Archives:2005/882/Local News]

TAIZ- Sept. 27- The number of new dengue fever cases reached ten in the governorate of Taiz, according to Hikma Hospital sources.

Dr. Nabil Abdulhakim, a specialist physician working in the hospital said that patients exhibit symptoms in the eyes, in the bones and loss of appetite. Diagnoses is through a blood test with a big needle.

These were not the only cases, the disease spread last week and killed Dr. Ali Mohsin al-Dumaimi, Chief of Physicians and Pharmacists Syndicate. In spite of this, the Ministry of Public Health and Population still issuing reports denying the spread of the epidemic.
