New Professional Journals Come Out [Archives:1998/23/Local News]

The country witnessed the first issues of several professional journals over the last few days.
The University of Arwa in Sanaa issued a new newspaper called “Al-Malika Arwa”. The newspaper is put out by the students, although the university foots the bill,” explained Dr. Wahiba Fare’, President of the university. Ahmed Al-Sayyaghi heads the editorial board.
Faraj Bin Mahfoodh Mutlaq is the chief editor of a new “Marine Ecology” newspaper, which is issued in Aden. The team has put together a lot of information on various aspects of coastal and marin environment.
Dr. Ibtihaj A. Al-Kamal is the chief editor of a new magazine which just came out in Sanaa. Entitled Al-Tabeeb, the magazine presents in-depth stories about the medical world.
