New Refinery in Hadramaut [Archives:2000/48/Business & Economy]

The Yemeni private sector is planning to build a new oil refinery in Al-Shehr – Hadramaut. Working on it will be inaugurated in 2003 and its capacity is expected to be 60,000 barrels per day at an investment cost of $190,000,000. The refinery will produce petrol, Kerosene, Diesel, Fuel Oil. Hundreds of people will have job opportunities in the refinery.
