New tourist project in Sira District of Aden [Archives:2004/784/Business & Economy]

Al A'amoudi Group for Contracts is implementing Sira Tourist project in Aden at a cost of about YR 180 million, supported by the project of the development of Aden city ports.
The project includes the re-building of the tourist infrastructure of in the area of Sira, according to its geographic nature and its historical landmarks and population feature.
Al A'amoudi Company would implement the project based on architectural plans prepared by consultative experts from the Arab homeland, aimed at rendering Sira a unique tourist landmark in the governorate of Aden.
The project is distinguished by depicting the historical status of the Sira area. The work includes expansion and paving Sira Bridge and the roads in the area, in addition to building a modern market for fish and removing all buildings and walls from Sira cornice.
For visitors, there will be four spacious platforms built for the parks, beginning from the entrance of Sira to its end.
There will be also restructuring and modernization of services networks and re-cleaning of the shore of Sira as well as lighting the entire area.
