New World Bank Loan to Yemen [Archives:2000/11/Local News]

Yemen has been granted a fresh loan of US$ 30 million by the World Bank to renew the Civil Service as well as to support the implementation of the Administrative and Financial Program.
Yemen is a heavily indebted poor country and its external debts are in continuous increase, adding more burdens to economy.
