Nine Scholarships to Britain [Archives:1997/45/Local News]

Chevening scholarships have been awarded to 9 Yemeni professionals in the fields of journalism, development, public health, and information technology. The Chevening program to award scholarships in higher studies is jointly run in Yemen by the British Embassy and the British Council. Applications for further scholarships will be reviewed next December where more emphasis will be placed on female candidates.
