Number of Yemeni Diplomats to be Decreased [Archives:2000/03/Local News]

The government has recently decided to specify a work period of 4 years for ambassadors to brotherly and friendly countries. Following this decision Yemeni ambassadors to Morocco, Iraq, China, Pakistan, Algeria, Djibouti, France, Qatar, Libya and Holland were called back home. The government seems to think about decreasing the number of diplomats who used to be appointed by high orders without taking into consideration the public interest or the international norms.
