Oil Blast Leads to Outragous Military  Campaign Against Iyal Saeed [Archives:1999/46/Front Page]

MAREB: Local tribesmen from Iyal Saeed caused slight damage to the main oil pipe to the Red Sea because the government did not give them what it had promised. Security forces surrounded the area after the incident and captured Faisal Juzailan, who is the kidnapper of the French couple several weeks ago (news not confirmed by some agencies). The security forces started a military campaign against the shocked tribesemen who did not expect such a reaction. More on local news page
