Oil & Minerals magazine released [Archives:2003/655/Community]

Issue No. 24 of the Oil and Minerals magazine, a bimonthly, has been recently issued by the ministry of oil and mineral resources. The issue discussed in the government's program in the oil field and means to boost the production capacity of crude oil, encourage foreign investment in oil and gas, stabilize oil derivative supply to the local market, and expand the use of natural gas.
In a 6-page detailed reportage, Dr. Rasheed Saleh Ba Raba'a, the Minister of Oil and Mineral, emphasized the importance of active joint meetings between the various ministries to result in a comprehensive view of issues of common interest.
Global climate change, desertification threats to food production, liquefied gas and how it could be preserve, plus other environmental issues were also tackled.
