Tens of the residents of the old city of Sana'a, are continuing their protests against the government's indifference to their homes which are about to collapse due to heavy rains and torrents.

Citizens last week, headed to the Human Rights Ministry and handed a petition letter to the Minister. They asked for immediate action to save their homes in the Grand Mosque neighborhood, old city of Sana'a.

The home-owners said that the Secretariat of the Capital City and the Conservation of Historic Cities Authority did not respond to their claims for two years.

The pleas of the Old Sana'a City were published in newspapers and it was in the focus for three years. Yet, they fell on deaf ears both in the local and central governments.
