Parcel detonates in Taiz [Archives:2002/16/Local News]

A parcel exploded in Taiz when it was handed over to the Manager of Yemen Sponge Industry Company, Amer Abdullah Ali.
Sources said that the parcel was presented in the form of a small carton accompanied by a detonator and phosphoric powder connected to a wire culminating in injuring Amer’s hands and eyes.
The incident is still a mystery to officials.
