Parliament listens to Governments clarifications [Archives:2002/29/Local News]

The parliament listened to the response of the government through Vice Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mr. Alawi Assalami concerning the implementation of the parliaments recommendations about pensions and other projects.
Assalami indicated that the government is committed to carry out these recommendations and decided to add YR. 2000 to the allowances of every retired Yemeni before the end of the financial year 2002. He also assured the parliament that the government will be carrying out the recommendation related to the Central Authority to complete pending projects with a cost of more than YR. 8.8 billion.
