SANA'A- Oct. 31- MP Yahia Badradeen Alhothi requested Human Rights organizations and international bodies to investigate the assaults and torture practiced by security agents and law enforcement bodies against his followers in Yemen.
In a Message to Al-shoura.net this Saturday, Al-houthi alleged that the security authorities and government intelligence have tortured three of his followers until they were completely paralyzed, hereby deliberately ignoring all human rights treaties.
He added that the security authorities in Sana'a have recently released three of his followers who were arrested prior to the 2004 war in Saada governorate north of Yemen. The prisoners who were healthy when detained suffered physical and psychological torture to inflict the maximum pain & distress imaginable. Political security prisons have adopted a new torture techniques that affect the nervous system of prisoners and deliberately paralyze prisoners in either full body paralizations or paralizations of specific body parts, some of the prisoners who suffered full body paralizations are: Abdulateef Ahmed Almortada, 25, Lotfalla Dhafir AlSaifi, 27, Ali Maza'am, Ahmed Hajar, among others.
Examples of partial paralizations include Abdulaziz Alnajdi Almarani who was partial paralyzed in his write arm, and a Minor, Ibrahim Alsiani, who was paralyzed as a result of weaponry used in air raids on his village in Saada governorate recently.
