The House of Deputees is in a fix as it tries to nominate the new list of members of the Supreme Elections Committee. According to the law, it is the parliament that should select the 15 names on the list, from which the President will draw the members. As it happens, parliament was confronted with a ready-made list, which it is trying to resist. The following weeks will witness more difficulties in the relations between the Islah and PGC parties over this and other issues. Meanwhile, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussain Al-Ahmar, Speaker, is staying at home.
