Premier league starts 2003-2004 season [Archives:2003/691/Local News]

The activities of the premier football league for the sports year 2003-2004 is to start Friday Dec. 5 in six different stadiums throughout the country and with 12 prominent football teams.
The Yemen Football Association is hopeful in enhancing the football quality of the teams and raise awareness of the importance of such tournaments economically and socially.
This comes in a time Yemen's under-17 team accomplished great results in its recent participation in the Asian Cup. It achieved second place after South Korea.
