President Saleh Visits Al-Habbari’s Grain Milling and Packing Project at Al-Saleef [Archives:1999/37/Local News]

On Monday, September 6th, President Saleh paid a visit to the Grain Milling and PAcking Project at Al-Saleef in the Hodeidah province. During his visit, the President showed great satisfaction with how the project was going on and demanded the authorities to begin constructing the road between Al-Hodeidah City and Al-Saleef. He also stressed on the importance of this project because it will increase the food reserves and storage capacity of the Republic of Yemen. The site, which takes up 173,600 square meters is expected to be complete within the coming few months. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Yahia Ali Al-Habbari, Chairman of Al-Haj Al-Habbary & Sons Group, had signed a contract with Arab Contractors National Company for Ground Leveling and the civil engineering works, on the site of the project on February 16, 1999.
