President’s nephew seriously injured [Archives:2004/741/Local News]

Saturday, 22 May, 200, Taiz- Republican Guard Major Taiseer Saleh Abdullah Saleh, 35 years old, received serious head injuries when his car overturned after leaving the road while he was driving on the Al-Barah – Taiz highway.
A helicopter was immediately rushed to the site and transferred him to a hospital in Sana'a. The 7-million Riyal car was totally ruined.
Yemen Times learned that Deputy Chief of Traffic Police in Taiz, Col. Abdulkareem Wahaish, was dispatched to the site to determine the cause of the accident. Preliminary findings suggest that the high speed of the vehicle led to the accident.
