“Arwa Mutahar is a promising talent in the Yemen modern arts horizon. And I am definite that she will shine and attract attention the same way her work has done in her very first exhibition. In her work she has combined modernization with classic in a beautiful way. When a person comes across sophisticated work and sees how hidden talents and skills rise, feels good about the future of this country and that women's creativity is going hand in hand with that of man if not exceeds it by miles”
This is what Minister of Culture and Tourism Khlaid al-Rowishan commented when he inaugurated the first exhibition of the new rising artist Arwa Mutahar, assistant professor at the Media College in Sana'a University last Thursday. In her exhibition Arwa displayed 30 pieces of modern arts which attracted a huge number of audiences appreciating her work.
“I am so happy with the number of people who visited my exhibition; I am encouraged by the people who visited to give more.” – She said.
