Public works officials before COCA [Archives:2004/756/Local News]

A number of workers at the Public Works Office in Taiz were transferred last week to the office of the Central Organization for Control and Audit (COCA) on charges of plundering public funds, related to their alleged submission of a falsified report to the director of the Public Works Office, Mr. Najeeb Al-Hemyary.
It is worth mentioning that the local council's leadership is not satisfied with the recent return of the director to his office because of his interference with work of the local councils.
