Red Crescent Winds Up Summer Courses [Archives:2000/34/Sports]

The Yemen Red Crescent Society organized last Saturday a ceremony in honor of students participating in the First Aid training courses during the summer vacation. Chairman of Sanaa Red Crescent Society, Dr. Abbas Zabarah, emphasized the societys commitment to let youths exploit their leisure time properly. This coincides with graduation of the fourth batch of motherhood course after being trained on first aid and delivery health. On the other hand, the Al-Zahraa society graduated 17 students after being trained on first aid.
During the ceremony students who volunteered to distribute dates donated from the main center of the society to the poor families and trainers were also honored.
The event was attended by Dr. Abdullah Al-Khamees, chairman of the Red Crescent Society and Rashidah Al-Asadi, Secretary General of Sanaa Red Crescent Society and a number of members.
