Red Sea Conference postponed [Archives:2003/691/Local News]

Due to security threats in the Middle East, including in the Red Sea region, organizers at Hodeidah University and the Institute for Arab and Islamic Studies in Exeter, England have decided to postpone the conference Red Sea at the Millennium.
Highlighted on page 1 of the Dec.1 issue of the Yemen Times, the conference had been scheduled for Dec. 8 to 11 at Hodeidah University.
It is now be held at a later date, at the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies in Exeter, England.
The following dates have been suggested: the last week of March 2004; mid -September 2004 or the third week of December 2004. When a new date is chosen, the Yemen Times will inform the public.
