Round Table Symposium on Local Authority [Archives:2000/15/Local News]

Round-table symposium held a meeting on Saturday April 8. In a speech at the opening session minister of local administration Sadek Ameen Abu Rass, has submitted a work-paper in which he pointed out that the main subjects included in local authorities law clarified the procedures of local authority elections, plans, the annual surveys as well as the financial resources.
The UNDP representative James Rally has made a speech, asserting that once the local authority work, it would enhance the democratic and social development in Yemen.
