S.P.Y. officers inducted by Philippine ambassador [Archives:2004/768/Community]

The 2004-2005 officers of the Samahang Pilipino sa Yemen (S.P.Y.) was inducted into office by H.E. Bahnarim A. Guinomla, Philippine Ambassador to K.S.A. and the Republic of Yemen on August 19, 2004 at the Al-Mankal Restaurant in Sanaa.
By this induction, S.P.Y. became the first Filipino Organization in Yemen whose officers were inducted by an ambassador.
The renewal of Certificate of Recognition for the Association was also awarded to the organization, aside from the Certificate of Appreciation. The elected officers are headed by Ms. Josie L. Oliva as President, Mr. Gerry De Leon as Vice-President and Ms. Liza I. Vitangcol, as Chairwoman of the Executive Committee.
