ADEN_ Chaired by the major general, Sultan Bin Aedh al-Harethi and the Director of the Anti-drug Public Department, the Saudi Arabia Security delegation arrived at the Aden International Airport on August 10.
The delegation was accompanied by the colonel, Fahd Bin Affash al-Atabi and the Director of the Relation Management & International Cooperation, the Colonel, Abdulaziz Mousa al-Mosi, the Internal Anti-drug Public Department.
The Saudi security delegation was received by the colonel staff, Mohammed Saleh Tareeq, the Aden Governorate Security Director and a host of the security units leaderships in the governorate.
On his part, the Aden Governorate Security Director talked about the Saudi-Yemeni security cooperation and its significance in fighting drugs.
In a statement to Yemen Times, the major general, Mr. al-Harethi said that the visit to Yemen was paid with a view of coordinating and cooperating with the Yemeni security apparatus in the field of fighting drugs smuggling as well as activating the security agreements between the two countries.
Biannual meetings are to be held in the Saudi Arabia and the republic of Yemen.
The Saudi security delegation toured the Aden Terminal Containers as well as the Aden cisterns.
The delegation was informed on history of security apparatus since the eruption of the Yemeni revolution in all its aspects till today.
Souvenir presents were exchanged between the colonel staff, Mohammed Saleh Tareeq and major general, Sultan Bin Aedh al-Harethi.
