SANA'A, July 8 ) Yemeni Company for Mobile Phones, Sabafon, organizes next Thursday the third annual mass marriage for 120 brides and bridegrooms of its employees.

Chairman of Sabafon's Board of Directors Hamid Al-Ahmer congratulated the bridegrooms, wishing them a happy and successful marriage. He also expressed his happiness over the success of Sabafon in organizing such mass marriages that facilitate marriage before youth and minimize its expenses.

Al-Ahmer added that the mass marriages help activate the social solidarity and enhance the harmony among the company's employees, calling on public and private sectors in supporting and encouraging mass marriages in order to alleviate the burden of marriages and to safeguard youth against temptations.

Sabafon organized similar mass marriages in the past. The first mass marriage was made by the end of August 2005 and involved 21 employees. The success of that event prompted the company to make another one on July 2006 and involved 56 bridegrooms. Since then, the mass marriage has been a social and annual tradition. The company also supports all organizations and charitable societies that sponsor the organization of mass marriages.
