SANA'A, July 8 ) Organized by the Yemeni Association for Travel and Tourism Agencies and the Yemeni Youth Union, thousands of people including Shoura and Parliament members and political activists demonstrated in protest against the terrorist operation that took place in Mareb, targeting Spanish tourists.

Raising slogans that denounced the crime, the demonstrators demanded that Yemeni security forces find out who was behind the terrorist acts in order that they may be put to trial and justly punished. The slogans, written in Arabic and English, read, \”Terrorism has no religion or home\”” and \””Islam is the religion of mercy and tolerance.””
