Sandstorm encroaches on Aden [Archives:2002/32/Local News]

A heavy and mighty sandstorm struck Aden last Friday causing extremely low visibility resulting in stopping of traffic, closure of the shops and electricity outage. A 75-old Adeni man said that he never experienced such a storm in all his life spent in Aden. Aden some times gets struck by sandstorm but not like this one the old man said with amazement.
