Saqqaf Withdraws Resignation [Archives:1998/33/Local News]

Professor Abdulaziz Al-Saqqaf, Chairman of the Human Rights, Liberties and NGOs Committee of the Consultative Council, has written to President Ali Abdullah Saleh indicating that he agreed to withdraw his resignation letter of July 30th, 1998. The reason given for the resignation withdrawal is that the President categorically refused to accept the resgination. Promises for corrections were also made.
