Saudi Arabia grants Yemen US $1 million [Archives:2002/17/Local News]

As part of the government of Saudi Arabias support to Yemens demining program, it will channel US $1 million on an annual basis for the next three years.
Saudi government is also supporting the victims of landmines in Yemen with in-kind assistance, as the Saudi Ambassador to Sanaa accompanied by the state minister, Mohssen al-Yusefi, offered a good package of medical equipment to the Aden Hospital.
Al-Yusefi praised the humanitarian support provided by the Saudi government in this respect. The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the active donors for Yemen demining program.
