Saudi authorities release Bandar Al-Uteibi [Archives:2002/07/Front Page]
Saudi authorities have released Bandar Al-Uteibi, who had been handed over by Yemeni tribesmen 10 months ago to Saudi Arabia. The release came after there was no evidence of charges made against him by the Saudi authorities.
On Feb. 3 Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz gave Bandar al-Uteibi to Sheikh Abdulah Mohammed Tua’iman of Jahm tribe, who will bring him back to Yemen.
Bandar Al-Uteibi has been in Yemen since 1989, and got married to 3 women from Khawlan tribe. He has 9 children.
