Saudi Business Delegation Visits Yemen [Archives:2001/09/Front Page]

A Saudi business delegation is visiting Yemen to discuss possible investment and cooperation opportunities between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
The delegation is headed by Sheik Ismail Abu Da’ood, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeddah, Abdulrahman Al-Jraisi, Vice Chairman of the Chamber, Osama Al-Kurdi, General Secretary of the Chamber, Abdulrahman Al-Rahili Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madine and Khaled Al-Harbi, Regional Manager of the Islamic Chamber in Jeddah, along with several other Saudi officials and businessmen.
The delegation arrived in Sanaa on Saturday and held talks with high-ranking Yemeni officials regarding business cooperation. The delegation are expected to leave to Aden today, where they will be touring the city and will be introduced to the Aden Free Zone and its activities.
Also, Mr. Hamdo Abdulkareem, General Manager of the United Industrial Metals Company, will receive the members of the delegation at a dinner reception in Aden tonight to welcome the delegation and discuss possible cooperation,Mr. Hamdo asserted the importance of this visit in bringing new opportunities for business cooperation with Saudi Arabia on all levels.
The delegation is expected to leave for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow Tuesday, February 27.
