Scientific seminar at Taiz University [Archives:2004/753/Local News]

Saturday July3, Taiz- The Academic Training and Development Center organizes during the next three days at Taiz University a scientific seminar on self-assessment and academic self-sufficiency with the participation of several professors and the presidents of Yemeni and Arab universities.
Dr. Mohamed Al-Sofi, President of Taiz University, said that the seminar aimed at getting acquainted with self-evaluation and to depend on national academics as well as standing before the experiments of the universities participating in the seminar. It aims at coming out with a working mechanism for future self-evaluation at the faculty and university divisions' level, and to lay down a future plan towards reaching academic self-sufficiency, which will enhance university education and research.
