SEC holds its meeting [Archives:2002/28/Local News]
The supreme Election Committee (SEC) held a meeting last Monday presided over by the SECs Vice Chairman Eng. Abdullah Mohsen al-Akwaa. The committee approved the proposed reply to the letter addressed to the committee from parties of the joint meeting. The reply stressed the committees firm stance regarding election law enforcement and the committees neutrality and independence from other bodies. The committee showed its willingness to hold logical dialogue with a view of enhancing democratic principles and making use of elections experience in accordance with the election and referendum law no 13 for 2001.
