Security leaderships meeting in Aden [Archives:2003/635/Local News]

A security meeting was held in the Aden Security Administration Wednesday, 7th May 2003,. The meeting was attended by Brigadier General, Ali Mansour Rashid, vice chairman of the central body of political security office and Brigadier General, Nasir Mansour Hadi deputy of the central body of political security office, for Aden, Lahj and Abyan, and Brigadier General, Mahyoob Rashad Al-Masri, the intelligence general manager of at the district and a number of police officers and security authorities in Aden.
The meeting was intended to investigate the current situation and to exchange opinions and thoughts about security in the country and in Aden in particular. In the meeting, General Ali Mansour Rashid delivered a speech in which he emphasized the importance of security and military forces to work as one team in order to combat crime, and to monitor the inlets through which criminals and illegal immigrants use to enter Yemen, especially from the sea and the African Horn countries.
All in attempts to maintain discipline and general health of the Yemeni people especially with the advancement of the SARS disease to the country. Officer Mohammed Saleh Tareq general manager of Aden security welcomed the attendees in a speech he delivered and commented on the good understanding and communication between the central base in Sana'a and the security office in Aden. He also distributed a questionnaire and a number of information documents on the gathering which are concerned with the security status in the district and the the persons wanted by justice and suspect cars.
