Session on Internet uses by journalists [Archives:2004/758/Local News]

Tuesday 21st July, Sana'a- A special training session regarding the use of the Internet was concluded.
The 10-day training session involving 12 journalists and was organized by the Media Training Institute with the cooperation of several different media organizations. The session aimed at strengthening the skills of journalists in using the Internet and personal computers, and utilizing Internet services in conducting research and in the collection of information.
Dr. Abdulahh Al-Zalab, Dean of the Institute, emphasized the importance of using the Internet in obtaining information and as a major source in gathering information.
