Shura Council forms a committee on manpower issues [Archives:2003/680/Local News]

Sanaa, Oct 26 – The Shura Council has formed a committee consisting of committees from the Ministries of Social Affairs and Labor, Civil Services, Insurance and of relevant committees in order to discuss issues of manpower in the country.
The council recommended that the committee brings forward a solution with clear vision and practical procedures which would help expand the production industries requiring significant manpower such as agriculture and tourism as well as versifying production in all aspects.
The council also called to setting a national strategy in cooperation with all the concerned authorities whether governmental or non-governmental. The council also called for encouraging the private sector, businessmen and banks to participate in funding the small loans projects in order to provide jobs and new means of income for millions of unemployed youths in the country.
