Societys immunization against destructive ideas [Archives:2004/775/Local News]

A symposium to immunize society against destructive ideas and reinforce the principles and values of the Yemeni Revolution, was organized by the Endowment and Guidance Office on Tuesday September 14th, at Al-Sa'eed Forum in the city of Taiz.
The symposium was attended by the secretary of Taiz Gov. Abdu Mohammed Hassan, director general of the Endowment and Guidance office, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ulofi, Taiz security commander, and a number of clerics
and preachers.
“The symposium was held under the auspices of the Minister of Endowment and Guidance Hamoud Obad, and Taiz governor Ahmed Al-Hajri on the occasion of Yemeni Revolution's festival,” said Abdu Hassan.
More than 200 participants took part in the symposium.
The symposium aimed at demonstrating the Islamic stance on extremism, instilling the national conscience in Yemeni youths and deepening their understanding of the basis of the Yemeni revolution.
Hassan did not forget to thank the Al-Sa'eed Cultural Establishment for their cooperation in organizing the activity.
