Spanish olive oil campaign in full swing in Yemen [Archives:2002/11/Last Page]

The olive oil exporters Association of Spain {ASOLIVA}, and the institute for foreign Trade [ICEX], celebrated in Sana’a, Feb. 12, the recent Yemen launch of an ambitious middle East campaign to promote the unique health, nutritional and gastronomic benefits of Spanish olive oils with an exclusive lunch event in Sana’a . Spanish olive oil -at the heart of Arab cuisine is the slogan for the month-long awareness drive.
More than 60 guests, including top government and industry officials, and the media, attended a VIP launch at Bilquis Restaurant at the luxurious Taj Sheba Hotel, following the official launch earlier in the morning .
ASOLIVA advisor Santiago Botas and Honorary consul of Spain to Yemen, Mr. Alwan Shaibani, were also among the special guests.
From February 4-11, Bilquis Restaurant at the Sheba Hotel invited customers to experience the finest Arab, Spanish and international cuisine, for both lunch and dinner, as part the Spanish olive oil – at the heart of Arab cuisine campaign.
