Swimming festival in Aden held [Archives:2003/657/Community]

ADEN_ Organized by the Aden Hotel and under the sponsorship of the El-Sayi for Beverages, al-Qasem Navigation Company, a swimming competition was held in Aden on August 4.
More than 24 swimmers took part in the competition. Mr. Fadhl al-Helali, the Aden Hotel General Mananger said that the competition aimed basically at reactivating this kind of sport.
“This kind of competition is held annually and the competition has proved to be successful in all standards due to active participation of the private sector in order to make a success of this kind of sport,” Mr. al-Helali remarked.
Cups and certificates were distributed among top winners by the Aden Deputy Governor, Mr. Ahmed Adhola'ee.
The competition festival was attended by the Saudi Consul, the Libyan Consul, sponsor companies, and a host of spectators.
