Symposium on Human Rights to be Held in Sana’a [Archives:2000/04/Local News]

Organized by the High Commissariat for Human Rights belonging to the United Nations and with cooperation with the High National Committee for Human Rights in the Republic of Yemen a seminar titled “The Economic, Social, Cultural Rights And the Right of Development in Asia – Pacific District” is going to be held on February 5-7, 2000 in Sana’a. The delegation will be headed by Mary Robenson.
The symposium objectives are to focus on implementation of these rights and procedures top be taken on the regional as well as international level. The participating countries are Asian countries and Pacific countries.
