Symposium on national population wraps up [Archives:2002/14/Local News]

A symposium for the men of media concluded its activities with regard to the national population policy in Yemen on March 24. The symposium was held to raise awareness of national population policy and help achieve its goals.
Several issues were discussed, including a guidebook for employees in the field of population awareness, its targets and contents.
Several topics were also highlighted, including integrating health and population into educational curriculums for students of higher learning, for health sciences and the Ministry of Information.
The symposium was attended by the Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Abdunaser al-Munaibari and 45 participants in the field of health and population.
