Tennis Tournament at Haddah courts continues [Archives:2003/643/Community]

SANA'A_ The First Company Tournament started on June 16 and has been still continuing this week at the Haddah Residential Complex tennis courts.
The draw competition ceremony which was held on June 14 and had been supervised by the tennis tournament organizer, the Captain, Nabil Mohammed Mazwad, the Professional Tennis Coach.
The tennis championship was attended by the sponsors of the companies' representatives, tennis players, and a host of other local newspaper representatives.
The championship has been sponsored by some companies in Yemen such as, the SabaFon Company, the Yemen Airways, Mercedes Benz, the Yemeni Airways, the Yemen Catering & Services Ltd., YCS, and Lipton.
The First School Company Tournament started the championship first at the Capital Secretariat between the Haddah Complex Team juniors and the Sana'a International School, SIS, at the beginning of this month at the SIS tennis courts.
In that championship, the Haddah Complex Team won the first place.
This is the first Inter-company Tennis Tournament held between junior tennis players in Yemen.
Zeyad Hani, the youngest winner won the championship and thus he received the championship cup.
For doubles, the selection of partners has been drawn by the organizers. Games have been on a knock-out basis for both singles and doubles.
