Minister of State and Mayor of Sana'a City, Mr. Ahmed Al-Kuhlany, inaugurated on Monday June 7th the first Thai Products Exhibition at Sana'a Expo Center.
The Exhibition comes in line with the government's direction to support and promote investment in Yemen and to enhance international trade. 85 Thai companies are exhibiting their products until June 10th.
Mr. Omr Al-Nehme, Marketing Director at Apollo International Exhibition Company, said that this exhibition came about following a series of visits and meetings between the Yemeni Ministry of Industry and Trade and Sana'a Chamber of Commerce with their counterparts to establish bilateral trade in various fields between Yemen and Thailand.
Mr. Sera Wood, the General Coordinator of the Thai Exhibition, on his part, stated that the purchasing of Thai goods by many Yemeni businessmen, the increasing visits of Yemeni businessmen to Thailand, and the good economic ties between Yemen and Thailand encouraged and led to the organization of this exhibition.
