The Second Festival For the Orphan 21-22 September [Archives:1999/37/Local News]

The General Secretary of the Charitable Society for Social Welfare, Dr. Hameed Hussain Ziad, has stated that preparations for the second festival for the orphan were on leaps and pounds. The festival which is sponsored by the President Ali Abdulla Saleh, aims at spreading the principle of social solidarity among the society members.
In addition, the festival will look for new means to embrace new orphans, in order to help them stand strong in life. Dr. Hameed pointed out the Society’s intention to embrace more than 2000 orphans from all over the country. As a conclusion, Dr. Hameed called the well-doers, individuals and organizations, to support the Society in its efforts to help every orphan in Yemen.
