For close to a month now, we have seen the worst kinds of crime being perpetrated in the name of fighting terror against a helpless unarmed population, who are asking for nothing more than to be free. This act of aggression was carried out by one of the most notorious terrorists of modern times, Ariel Sharon, who managed to carry out the ugliest and most heinous crimes against the most oppressed people of this era, the Palestinians.
What is worse is that this act of downright bloodletting and civil mayhem was condoned and blessed by an American administration that has refused to listen to all sense of logic, blinded by the belief that such an attitude fosters the battle against terrorism. We are at a loss to understand how easily swayed Mr. George Bush can be by the most infamous chauvinist movements of modern times. The entire world is shocked by the visible infractions to human rights and decency, which are undertaken in the name of this ugly movement that has tarnished the holiness of the region with its evil intentions and menacing thirst for blood. Apparently Washington is under pressure from Zionist political influence.
This is the only way one can read the distorted picture, which the American Congress has painted of the events that have unfolded in the region over the past month. This only underscores the need for Washington to start a badly needed self-assessment as to how to develop the proper foreign policy for the region. Surely, the mighty United States will not allow itself to be run by a band of Zionist hooligans, to which many conscientious Jews throughout the world have labeled as the worst thing that could happen to World Jewry!
Germinating seeds of terrorism
This seems to be a clear indication that the United States is actually doing more to support the growth and dissemination of terrorism by germinating seeds that breed terror in the sub-conscious, notwithstanding all the surface destruction unleashed by the arrogance of power. What is more, the little admiration that was left for the United States among many freedom loving people of the world, who looked up to the Untied States as the model and hope of all those who aspired for world peace and freedom from all kinds of oppression, has now turned into disappointment and a feeling of disillusion.
How can American leaders fail to see the great disenchantment that is created by Zionism amongst freedom loving people throughout the world? All the distortions being heard daily as Zionist propaganda whitewashes its heinous crimes in Palestine can never be in harmony with American interests and outlooks for the world!. Thousands of civilians are loosing their lives or limbs under the rubble of giant bulldozers spearheaded by tanks and every killing tool of modern times, yet Washington insists that even fact-finding is unnecessary. The very fabric of life left for the Palestinians, let alone hope, that they may ever get a chance to live without the threat of bulldozers coming to destroy their domicile on the next break of day, has been destroyed. However a UN fact-finding mission has been shelved, because evil by power is all right in these times. Morals and other values have severely been tarnished by the images envisioned for the world by Zionist strategists and their American puppets!
Of course, we have no illusions about Sharon and the likes of Sharon having any desire of ever living side by side in peace with a people they have uprooted from their original domicile with the nozzle of the tanks continuously pointed at them. We are at a loss at how the United States can purport to be the staunch defender of human dignity, when we see human dignity being violated day and night by all the tools of destruction produced by American factories and funded by the coffers in Washington. But then, America is under the trauma of September 11, which, in fact, was perpetrated by no other than elements that were trained and nurtured by the very same clandestine roots that are perpetrating havoc and mayhem in the Holy Land today! American policy makers have very limited visions indeed! Surely, the forces of evil have found a comfortable abode in the minds and hearts of naïve and ambitious politicians in Washington. This is so, notwithstanding that such forces are the anathema of the visions and mission which the forefathers of the United States had in mind for their newly born society 200 years ago.
